Finishing off our celebration of SASS Week with a special dessert table hosted by our P&C for our wonderful staff!

This was a small way of thanking our dedicated staff for the commitment, compassion and care they show our students and school community each day.

Celebrating the wonderful work our students put in each week!

Today, these students visited my classroom to proudly share their learning and the work they have been working so hard on. Their dedication, effort and enthusiasm were wonderful to see.

To recognise their achievements, they each received a book award. Congratulations! We are so proud of you and all that you are accomplishing.

Behind so many of the wonderful events and opportunities at our school is an incredible group of dedicated P&C parents.

From supporting school events and fundraising to giving back to our community and volunteering their time each week to run our canteen, their commitment and generosity never go unnoticed.

During Arabic Community Languages, students learnt about the beginning of spring using their five senses. Their excitement is evident as they engage in hands‑on activities, build new vocabulary, and enjoy learning Arabic. This week, students learnt the letter ر Raa for Rabieh “spring” 💐🪻🌼 and ز Zaa for Zahra “flower” 🌺.

📚 Learning Together: Parent Reading Workshop 📚

Today, we welcomed many of our valued parent partners to an outstanding and interactive Reading Workshop.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff who shared the science behind how children learn to read and demonstrated how this knowledge is brought into the classroom through our everyday teaching practices. Parents gained a deeper understanding of how their child learns to read and were provided with practical strategies and resources to support reading at home.

Thank you to the many parents who attended and actively participated in today’s session. We truly value the partnership between home and school and know that when we work together, our students benefit.

Next Wednesday, we will be holding our interactive Parent Numeracy Workshop! There is still time to register your attendance. We would love to see you there!
