Did you know most standard EWPs are rated for maximum wind speeds of 12.5 m/s (approx. 45 km/h)?

Operating a scissor lift or boom lift above this limit creates severe risk of machine destabilization or tip-over.

3 Wind Safety Reminders:
• Always check the machine data plate for rating limits.
• Remember: Wind speed increases significantly as you ascend.
• Use an anemometer on high-exposure sites, don't guess!

What an absolute powerhouse day yesterday at the "Say Yes To Trades" Expo! Run by the team at the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) and Superior Training Centre, the energy in the exhibition hall was completely off the charts.

With 600+ students streaming through the doors, it was "chaotic" in the absolute best way possible! Getting to talk face-to-face with the next generation of trade business leaders, answering their questions, and seeing their passion for stepping into high-risk trades was incredible... even if our vocal cords are currently paying the price today! 💬🔥

Unintended bucket releases cause severe site injuries every year. Whether operating a mini-digger or a 30-tonne excavator, verifying your hitch connection is non-negotiable!

Always follow these 3 steps:
1️⃣ Engage the safety lock/pin mechanism.
2️⃣ Perform a ground pressure test by applying downward force on the attachment.
3️⃣ Visually inspect the lock engagement before lifting.
