Still pinching myself… 🤍

Ms G Speech & Drama has officially been selected as a FINALIST for the 2026 Cumberland Local Business Awards! 🧡✨

What started as a small dream has continued to grow into a beautiful community filled with passionate students, supportive families and endless opportunities for young voices to shine.

From mentoring my very first Diploma student, to expanding classes, building confidence in students and growing this studio year after year — I am beyond grateful for every single person who has supported this journey.

Thank you for your continued trust, encouragement and support. This recognition belongs to all of us. 🫶🏽

This is only the beginning…

The countdown begins 🎭

Our students are preparing for the Parramatta Eisteddfod, kicking off 9th May at Dundas Community Centre.

Over the next two months, each student will be working towards a personal goal — refining their technique, building confidence, and stepping onto the stage with purpose.

We’re excited to watch their growth. Let’s go 💪

What a way to wrap up Term 1 🐣✨

Despite a term full of interruptions and plenty of adjustments, I couldn’t be prouder of how all my speech and drama students showed up, stayed committed, and kept growing every single week.

A huge THANK YOU to all my wonderful parents for your flexibility, patience, and support in working around my schedule this term — it truly means so much 🙏

Now it’s time for a well-earned 3-week break (and yes… some very deserved, slightly overpriced Easter eggs 🍫😂). Classes will resume in Term 2, Week 2 — and then it’s straight into Eisteddfod season the following weekend! 🎭

Next term is a big one: more focused, more driven, with Eisteddfod prep, senior theory work, and the excitement building for our senior excursion 👀✨

For now… enjoy this sweet little moment of joy — here are my students getting VERY excited about their Easter treats 🐰💛

Acting isn’t about pretending — it’s about truth. 🎭
Helping students step into character with confidence, honesty, and imagination every single week.

Registrations for the Parramatta Eisteddfod are closing soon — entries close at midnight on March 13.

All Ms G Speech & Drama families have received their child’s entry details via email and inside their student books. To finalise the process, parents must visit the Stardom website and complete the registration before the deadline.

Participating in the Parramatta Eisteddfod is a wonderful opportunity for students to apply the skills they have been developing in class, perform on stage, and build confidence in front of an audience. Students also receive valuable feedback from an adjudicator, helping them continue to grow as performers.

Please make sure registrations are completed before midnight on March 13 to avoid missing out.

Our first graduate 👨🏽‍🎓
IMEB practical exams are officially complete for 2025 and what a fantastic success they have been. Congratulations to all my students who worked hard, passed their exams and are now moving on to the next grade. This year, many of our students saw firsthand how much difference consistent practice makes, and how starting early makes an even greater impact.

A special thank you to all the IMEB examiners for their time and valuable feedback. We are growing every day as a studio, and your insights help our students continue to improve and strive for excellence. And to the directors for providing us with such a professional examination platform for students to master and present their skills, allowing them to grow each year.

This year also marks our greatest milestone yet. Not only did we celebrate turning five years as a studio in October, but Gobi Ragavan, our very first Diploma student, is now an official graduate and I could not be prouder as a teacher. We worked incredibly hard as a team to develop his program to examination level, and Gobi dedicated himself to refining the skills he has built over many years in speech and drama. He passed his Diploma with a soaring A grade, a fantastic achievement not only for him but a new benchmark for future graduates to strive towards.

With exams now wrapped up, we look ahead to the next exciting milestone. We have three weeks until our annual Christmas Showcase, where the Ms G Speech and Drama community will come together to watch students perform a Christmas piece on stage, enjoy afternoon tea, and celebrate another successful year.
