Inaburra School

It was Senior School's turn to hit the track and field at Sylvania Waters today. The cooler temps didn't deter our students, with great participation across all events and several records broken — we look forward to celebrating those athletes in the coming weeks.

Year 12 once again brought the fun with their 'decades' dress-up theme, House games ran throughout the day to boost House spirit, and the music kept the energy going from start to finish.

A special mention to Mr Tolhurst and the Sport staff for their organisation of the day. It's always a huge undertaking and everything ran beautifully.

At the top of the school we have an amazing line-up of 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 vendors including burgers, woodfire pizza, gozleme, dumplings, fajitas, Greek street food, chips on a stick and seafood. Close by, our church partner Menai Baptist Church is hosting a fundraiser sausage sizzle.

What a fantastic day at the Junior School Athletics Carnival at Sylvania Waters Athletics Track. It was wonderful to see students trying their hand at all the different disciplines and giving their best effort. Our K–1 students joined in with novelty activities alongside their older peers, and Year 6 House Captains led the cheers for their houses, finishing the day on a high with the House relay.

A big thank you to our Year 9 PASS students who assisted staff with running the events and to Mrs Carroll and Mrs Soper for all their organisational efforts.

HSC wisdom, straight from those who've been there. Today, our Year 11 and 12 students heard from four alumni — Christos, Annabelle, Emma and Daniel — who came back to share their honest reflections on the HSC journey.

Their advice?

Highlights from the CSSA Zone Netball Gala Day today at Barden Ridge with 72 Senior School players hitting the courts for a day of friendly competition 🏐

TWILIGHT OPEN EVENING | We have plenty to keep the family busy with FREE 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 including a giant inflatable, face painting, balloon bending, climbing wall and more! You can find the MBC Kid's Zone down the bottom of the school on the night.

Congratulations to the 32 Senior students who competed on Friday at the CSSA State Cross Country Championships in wet and challenging conditions at Blacktown. Every student gave their all in tricky, testing weather conditions and represented Inaburra with determination and resilience.

Special congratulations to Jude (Year 11) and Zoe (Year 9), who both achieved an outstanding 3rd place finish.

Inaburra will now have a large team heading to the CIS Championships — an incredible achievement.

Junior School students enjoyed a special visit from Sydney Swifts players Sarah Klau and Maddy Turner this week. Students loved hearing more about the sport of netball, the players’ journeys to the Swifts, and what it takes to compete at an elite level.

They also had the opportunity to ask plenty of thoughtful questions, with Sarah and Maddy commending our students on their curiosity and insight.

Inaburra’s HSC Mastery is an intensive week of expert lectures and focused study designed to help Year 12 students prepare with confidence for their Trial HSC Exams.

Held during the final week of the mid-year holidays, HSC Mastery is open to all students — whether they attend Inaburra or not. Students learn from experienced HSC educators and markers while gaining practical strategies, targeted revision support and valuable exam insight.
