Homestay is about so much more than providing a place to stay. It’s about learning from different cultures, building long-lasting friendships, sharing everyday moments — and sometimes even shedding a few tears when it’s time to say goodbye.

The Kingham family was no exception! They had an amazing time welcoming two students from Niigata, Japan, into their home and creating memories together.

Our Homestay Coordinator, Yuki, and English Teacher, John, also provided wonderful support to our host families throughout the program, helping make the experience even more meaningful for everyone involved.

Keika is one of our longest-standing partner schools, and it has been special to see the relationship between Keika, Murrumba State Secondary College, and EdVenture continue to grow over the years.

A huge thank you to all the university students who helped make our Buddies and Students Tour such a memorable experience earlier this month! Our wonderful students from Niigata, Japan, had an amazing time in Brisbane and left with big smiles and lots of great memories. 🤩🇯🇵

Last month, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mikage High School group to Baringa State Secondary College. The Mikage students brought wonderful energy throughout the program and had an amazing experience, both at school and with their host families.

A special thank you to our incredible host families and the staff/students at Baringa State Secondary College for their warm hospitality and ongoing support. We appreciate everything you did to make the program such a memorable experience for the students😊
