Congratulations to the three teams who represented RCC at the Northern River's Oztag Gala Day in Ballina during the week. The teams competed well with the Year 7 & 8 boys making the semi finals before being eventually knocked out.

Congratulations to our amazing Tournament of the Minds teams who competed on the weekend in the Social Sciences division in a variety of planned and spontaneous challenges. Both teams excelled with our Stage 5 team coming out regional winners with an even greater honour of being awarded the TOM Spirit award for their togetherness, respect and integrity!!

Well done to the RCC Community Dragon Boat Regatta Team!! The team was awarded for the Noah's Ark champion 'Best Dressed Team' and placed 3rd in the minor final!! Woohoo!

Students from Kindergarten to Year 10 participated in a morning of various Science Week challenges last week growing both knowledge and skills while having lots of fun in the process!

Come on down to the Dragon Boat Regatta at Pop Denison Park today and support the RCC team as they race in the community section! We are Noah's Ark!

Congratulations to all 38 students who travelled to Coffs Harbour to represent the school at the CSSA Zone Athletics carnival in Week 3.

Special congratulations to:
- Alex, Virat, Vani, Sophie and Lente from primary school who qualified for the State Carnival on Friday 21 August; and
- Nyoka, Felix, Bella, Bodhi, Stella, Oscar, Jesse, Sid, Kani, Cedar, Liam, Karan, Ruben, Sophie, Nate and Ethan from high school who qualified for the State Carnival on Thursday 27 August.

Several of our students also broke Zone records on the day - Well done!

A group of Year 11 students interested in pursuing professional careers in medical fields had the opportunity to participate in the Northern Rivers Professional Health Careers Day at the University for Rural Health in Lismore recently practicing various skills across the disciplines.

Stage 5 Food Tech students have continued their Food for Special Occasions unit making Traditional Norwegian Rice Pudding and adding Aussie garnishes of berries and ice cream!
