Mount Pleasant Primary School

I have previously worked at Ballarat Regional Education Office within the School Improvement Team, been Assistant Principal at two primary schools in Melbourne and presented a paper at Oxford University England on Leading Literacy education in Australian schools.

I am passionate about developing authentic student voice by empowering our students to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with students, families and teachers to learn about their passions and aspirations for our Mount Pleasant community.

Our learning community is a vibrant and engaging place to be. We look forward to working in partnership with you and your family in the education and development of your child/ren.

A child’s primary years are the most important years of their life. As your child’s first educators, you continue to be the major influence on their learning and development during the school years and long afterwards.

We have the important responsibility of working with you, to nurture and provide the educational foundations for their future. It is essential that we work together in partnership, to ensure that your child achieves their maximum potential. We work as a team to help them become literate and numerate, confident in their approach to social interactions, problem solving and in the use of technology and the arts.
