The Recorder Ensemble had a wonderful session with Nick Dinopoulos, Artistic Director of the Australian Boys Choir on Friday. We had practised a couple of pieces which he then gave suggestions as to how we could do it better. We then had a sight reading exercise with 2 pieces he gave us. He was a wonderful teacher who got us moving and singing and getting us out of our usual comfort zone. Nick is such an experienced musician with a lovely singing voice - those who heard him sing and conduct at the St Marks Passion which the boys performed for us in March will know how talented Nick is. We were very fortunate and hope to have him back next year!
