🏉 FOOTY DAY FUN! 🏉

Today at Sesame Kids we celebrated Footy Day! ❤️💙💛💚

Our children and educators came dressed in their favourite team colours and guernseys ready for a day filled with fun! There was plenty of team spirit, footy-themed activities and, of course, lots of friendly banter between our supporters! 😜🏆

We love days like these that bring our centre community together and give the children the opportunity to share something they enjoy with their friends and educators.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make our Footy Day such a fun one! 🏉✨

Now the big question… who are you backing in the final? 👀🏆

🩹❤️ Keeping our skills up to date!

A big thank you to our dedicated educators who gave up part of their weekend to complete their First Aid training! ⛑️

Keeping our knowledge and skills current helps ensure we’re always prepared to provide a safe and caring environment for the children in our care. 🥰

Well done, team! 👏✨

Today, some of our amazing children and educator stepped straight into the world of Toy Story, bringing some of our favourite characters to life! 🤠🧸🚀💚

📚❤️ BOOK WEEK 2026 – WHERE’S WALLY? ❤️📚

What an amazing Book Week we’re having at Sesame Kids! 🌟

Our educators certainly got into the spirit today, with plenty of familiar red-and-white stripes popping up around the centre! 🔴⚪️👓 A whole group of our team and a couple of children transformed into Wally, which made for lots of laughs as the children tried to spot them throughout the day — Where’s Wally? More like… Where AREN’T the Wallys?! 😂

We absolutely love seeing our children and educators celebrating their favourite books and characters and sharing the joy of reading together. 📖✨

A huge thank you to all of our families for getting involved in making Book Week so much fun. We love seeing all the incredible costumes and the excitement on the children’s faces! ❤️

We endeavour to continue to grow and learn even as educators, which is why we hold monthly team meetings to preach what we practice! 🦺🥽

During our last team meeting, we reflected on child safety and the importance of communication. This turned into a fun activity where the educators paired up and had to draw a shape without telling the other person what kind of shape it was. 🌙▪️🔻

It was a great evening of learning, enhancing knowledge and sharing laughs!👏

📚✨ BOOK WEEK IS COMING! ✨📚

We’re excited to celebrate Book Week next week at Sesame Kids! 💛

We’d love for all of our little book lovers to join in the fun by dressing up as their favourite book character all week! 📖🦸‍♀️🦖👑

It could be a much-loved character from a favourite story, a classic book, or even a character from a book they’ve recently discovered. The possibilities are endless! 🌈

Most importantly, there’s no pressure to buy anything new — homemade costumes, simple outfits and things you already have at home are absolutely perfect. And we have costumes available at the centre in each room. We want the children to have fun, get creative and celebrate their love of books! ❤️

We can’t wait to see all of the wonderful characters who visit us! 📚✨

Happy Book Week! 💕
