🌟✨ Term 4 Tutoring Fun! ✨🌟

This week in our tutoring sessions, we took creativity to the next level with the Story Spine! 📖✍️ We transformed our table into a brainstorming masterpiece, planning out narratives that spark imagination and storytelling skills.

From “Once upon a time...” to “And they all lived happily ever after,” we explored the magic of structure in storytelling. 🎉🍀 It’s amazing to see how ideas flow when we collaborate and think outside the box!

🌟📚 So proud of my little superstar, Ivy! 🎉 She just completed 10 consecutive weeks of daily reading! 🌈📖 With her reading sticker chart filled up, she tackled 5 nights a week and even added some Saturday sessions!

Ivy explored a fantastic range of decodable texts from Little Learners Love Literacy, Dandelion Launchers, and Sounds Write. These books have truly boosted her confidence and motivation to read! 💪✨ I’ve seen her reading skills improve dramatically, all thanks to just a few minutes of reading each day. Ivy is all set to tackle her first year of school, next year!

🌟 Watching my daughter learn and grow has been such a joy! Today, we continued with Sounds-Write and working through initial code unit 6. Ivy was building and writing the word “jam,” sounding out each sound as she goes. 🌟 Today marks my last day at Shine Learning! ✨ It’s been an incredible journey teaching over 500 lessons and helping so many students succeed. 📚💡 As I embark on a new chapter to welcome my little one, I’m filled with gratitude for the amazing experiences I’ve had here.

🎉 I ordered two sets of decodable texts to support my students with their reading skills and I couldn’t be happier with them. I have tested the books with my daughter and she’s loving them, often asking to read the books again and again.

📚✨ We have started a reading sticker chart with my daughter! 🌟 Even though she already loves reading, the chart will serve as a visual reminder of her reading progress and a fun way to track her nightly reading adventures.

🌙💫 Completing this chart will be a huge achievement for her at the age of 5, and it will help cultivate great reading habits for her upcoming journey in prep next year!
