With the Olympics currently on, we thought we’d share our very own Olympian.
Russell Mark attended Ballarat East High School from ‘75-‘81 and was a school captain in his final year.
Russell won Gold 🥇in the Double Trap event at the ‘96 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and a silver medal 🥈at the 2000 Summer Olympics is Sydney!

1984- 40 years ago!
John Lampard was Principal, new facilities were built such as the $600,000 indoor sports complex known as the REC which is still used daily for classes and community groups such as Futsal Ballarat.

Yesterday saw Orlando, our 2022 DUX come back to Woodmans Hill.
Orlando is studying a Bachelor of Law at Monash University.
Orlando is also part of the Monash High Powered Rocketry team - who launch scientific sounding rockets. Monash have a team going to an Australian comp this year but next year their flagship rocket will compete at the Spaceport America Cup! How awesome!

It must be the week for it!
Today we had some of our 2023 graduates pop in to visit us.
Ollie is studying a Diploma in Nursing at Fed Uni (Mt Helen) and was one of our school captains.
Mirabi - has taken a gap year to travel many countries in Europe and will be studying Architecture next year (preferably at RMIT)
Esdras is studying Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance. Esdras was also a school captain and our Dux!
It always brings a smile to our faces to see our students come back.
We look forward to hearing more about your future endeavours.
