What a fabulous day celebrating Book Week! 📚✨
Our day commenced with our annual Book Week Parade and what an incredible display of creativity and imagination! The costumes were absolutely amazing and it was wonderful to see everyone embracing the magic of books.

We then enjoyed book week family group activities, making the day even more special.

It's a Marvellous Monday for sharing...

Our Year 2 writers worked on taking their sentences from Boring → Better → BEST!

We began with a simple sentence, then explored how we could make our writing more interesting by carefully changing and adding words. Students experimented with stronger verbs, descriptive adjectives, interesting adverbs and conjunctions to help their ideas grow.

Our focus was on learning how to:
enhance writing by adding and changing words
build compound and complex sentences
make writing more interesting for the reader

It was fantastic to see students thinking like authors, rereading their work and asking themselves, “How can I make this sentence even better?”

🎉 Our first St Brigid’s Trivia Night was a HUGE success! 🎉

Thank you to our incredible P&F for organising such a fun and memorable evening for our school community.

It was wonderful to see families, community members and staff come together, enjoy a few laughs and show support for St Brigid’s. Your generosity and enthusiasm made the night so special! 🥳

A massive thank you to everyone who attended, donated, helped behind the scenes and contributed to making the night such a success.

All funds raised will go towards our much needed cover over the basketball courts, helping us create a more versatile space for our students and community.

What a wonderful night of community, connection and plenty of trivia! 🎉
