Our school aims to provide opportunities for children to develop their intellectual, physical, social, cultural and emotional skills. Students are also exposed to the latest technology, pedagogy, assessment strategies and educational research with a clear focus on the implementation of the Western Australian Curriculum. Pastoral Care is also a key focus throughout the school linking our student se

rvices team to enhance our strong commitment to building and supporting a safe learning environment for all our students. Physical Education and Music are our specialist areas with Visual/Media Arts and Health added in 2017. The use of technology is integrated into learning programs for all year groups as we progress to being at the cutting edge of technology-assisted learning. Rivergums Primary School has modern state of the art facilities that enhance the learning experiences of all students. Our purpose built art/visual art and music rooms ensure learning experiences in the arts are maximised. Our school assembly area provides a quality venue for our community where students can showcase their learning through a variety of events.

Wear Blue or Yellow for R U OK? Day at Rivergums.

R U OK? Day is a national day of action focused on mental health and wellbeing. For kids, it is a special time taught in schools and homes to help them learn how to name their feelings, show kindness to friends, and ask the simple question, "Are you OK?

We would like to invite our school community to our Learning Showcase on Wednesday 9 September.

Our Book Fair will start at 2:45pm before our classrooms open for students to show their work at 3:30pm.
The afternoon will conclude with a performance by our school choir in the undercover area at 4:30pm.
We look forward to sharing our students learning with you.

๐„๐œ๐ก๐จ ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐†๐ž๐œ๐ค๐จ ๐–๐€๐’๐Ž ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
The presentation is a fun story called Echo the Gecko. It will be presented with the support of a 14 piece Chamber Orchestra including instruments from the woodwind, brass, strings and percussion sections of the orchestra and a conductor/presenter. Students have been learning about the orchestra in Music lessons in preparation for the incursion.
The school has kindly paid for this incursion, which means that all students can attend.
