Our popular Father’s Day Stalls are back, giving students the opportunity to choose a special gift for Dad, Grandad or another important father figure in their life.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Secondary School Father’s Day Stall will be held on the following days:

📅 Monday, 31 August
⏰ During Recess and Lunch
📍 Location: Old Canteen behind the Learning Hub (look for signage)

📅 Tuesday, 1 September
⏰ 8:00am – 8:20am (Before School), Recess and Lunch

JUNIOR SCHOOL

The Junior School Father’s Day Stall will be held on:

Students will visit the stall during their allocated class time with their classroom teacher. Class time slots will be released closer to the event.

💙🤝 Community Supporting Community 🤝💙

At MTCC P&F, we’re passionate about bringing our school community together. 🏫💙 Whether it’s meeting other parents, volunteering at events 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️, supporting school initiatives 🎉, or simply making new connections, our goal is to create a welcoming, supportive community where everyone feels they belong.

Here’s a wonderful example of what that looks like in action… ✨

🎉 Yvonne, a proud grandmother of one of our students, was the lucky winner of one of our Mother’s Day Raffle Hampers. Inside her hamper were some beautiful Dusk candles 🕯️, generously donated by Willows Plumbing, along with their business card.

Not long afterwards, Yvonne found herself needing a plumber. 🚰🔧 Remembering the business that had supported our school, she contacted Willows Plumbing - and was delighted with the service she received. 👏😊

💙 That’s the power of community.

When local businesses support our school, our families discover those businesses and have the opportunity to support them in return. 🏡➡️🏪 It’s a wonderful cycle that strengthens local businesses, our school, and our entire community. 🌱💙

🪩✨ DISCO RECAP! ✨🪩

It’s been a few weeks since our incredible P&F Disco, and we’re still buzzing from what was an unforgettable night! 💃🕺

Back on Friday 22nd May, our Pre-Kindy to Year 6 students hit the dance floor for an evening packed with music, laughter, fun, and plenty of disco magic. Seeing so many smiling faces and students making memories with their friends made all the hard work worthwhile.

📊 A look back at the numbers:
🎟️ 553 tickets sold
🌭 315 sausage sizzles pre-purchased
🥤 357 drinks pre-purchased
💰 Over $6,700 raised to support future P&F initiatives and opportunities for our students.

A huge THANK YOU goes to our amazing volunteers who generously gave their time before, during, and after the event. Your support helped ensure everything ran smoothly and safely for our students.

Special thanks also to our dedicated P&F Disco Committee, whose planning, organisation, and hard work brought the entire event together.

🌟 We would also like to give a special shout-out to Q Elite Surface Protection for generously providing the lighting that transformed the hall into the ultimate disco experience. Thank you for helping create such a fun and exciting atmosphere for our students.

Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful school community. Whether you purchased tickets, volunteered, donated, or simply helped your child get ready for the night, your support helped make the event such a success.

🌸 Mother’s Day Stall & Raffle Success! 🌸

What an incredible week it was celebrating the special women in our lives! 💐

Our P&F Mother’s Day Stall and Raffle were a fantastic success, with students enjoying the opportunity to choose thoughtful gifts for their mums, grandmothers, carers, and other important women in their lives.

✨ The results speak for themselves:
🎟️ 249 raffle tickets sold, raising $747
🎁 Over 1,100 Mother’s Day Stall tickets sold, generating more than $2,000 in profit

Every dollar raised will go directly towards supporting future P&F initiatives, projects, and opportunities that benefit our students and school community.

A huge thank you to our amazing P&F committee members and the many volunteers who generously gave their time to organise, set up, and run both the stalls and raffle. Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without your dedication and support.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the wonderful local businesses who donated prizes for our Mother’s Day Raffle. Your generosity helped make this event such a success and allowed us to create something truly special for our community. ❤️
