In T8, the Year 6 students have been engaged in a variety of exciting learning experiences across the curriculum. In Mathematics, students compared their height to a life-size LeBron James and calculated the difference using decimals. In HASS, they became young entrepreneurs by designing and pitching innovative products that could become the next big trend. In Digital Technologies, students explored binary code and discovered how computers communicate using 0s and 1s. Through our class novel, The Great Wall of Lucy Wu, students developed empathy by considering Yi Po's experiences and writing thoughtful messages of support. It has been fantastic to see students demonstrating creativity, critical thinking and compassion in their learning.

Here are our TRV winners for Week 7 of Term 3 2026.
Our winners from Years 1 to 6 are Charlotte, Indee-Rose and Mia.
All of our students were very excited to choose their grand prize. Well done to them all.
Students can earn tokens for anything that they do that is positive which includes things like
• Displaying the TRPS values,
• Wearing the correct uniform,
• Being on time in the morning,
• Working to their best ability in class,
• Great attitude at specialist lessons etc...
When a student earns a token it gets placed into a draw in their class. Each week the teacher draws out 6 token winners and they get an extra reward of 15 minutes of extra playtime with special guests Mr Lewis and Mrs Paterson. The students bring their raffle tickets with them to the reward, and they go into another draw. Whoever gets picked out gets to choose from a variety of prizes.

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful Education Assistants! ❤️

We are incredibly lucky to have such a caring, dedicated and hardworking team of EAs at our school. Every day, you support our students, help our teachers, solve problems, lend a hand (often before anyone even asks!) and make such a positive difference to our school community.

The patience, kindness and care you show our students does not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you do — including all the little things that happen behind the scenes.

Our school simply wouldn’t be the same without you. Thank you for everything you do and for being such an important part of our team! 🌟

What a busy and engaging week we have had in G3!
In HASS, students explored local Noongar words for plants and animals before enjoying a hands-on experience in our Indigenous garden. They learned about native edible plants, planted a variety of species, and used their senses to explore native herbs, developing a deeper appreciation for Noongar culture and caring for Country.
In Mathematics, we continued building our understanding of change problems in the EMP program.
In Writing, students investigated the features of persuasive texts and began applying persuasive language and strong arguments in their own work.
In Visual Arts, students created boomerang artworks inspired by Aboriginal symbols and storytelling traditions, designing and illustrating their own meaningful stories.
We are proud of the enthusiasm, creativity, and curiosity students have shown across all learning areas this week!
