Yesterday, our school community came together for an engaging and informative Careers & Industries Expo and Year 10 Parent Information Evening.
A huge thank you to our Senior School and events staff for the outstanding work in bringing together what was undoubtedly our best Careers Expo yet. It was wonderful to see students and families connecting with universities, training providers, industry representatives and employers to explore the many pathways available beyond school.
The evening provided valuable opportunities for students to ask questions, make connections and gain insight into future study, training and career options.
Our Year 10 Parent Information Session also gave families important guidance around senior school pathways, course selection and future planning.
Thank you to all exhibitors, staff, students and families who contributed to such a successful and engaging event.

Today we welcomed Hon. Reece Whitby MLA to the College to see our new science probes and data logging equipment in action, purchased through the State Government’s Small Scale Election Commitment Program.
The College was grateful to receive $25,000 in funding towards new science equipment, helping provide students with access to advanced scientific probes and technology to support hands-on learning opportunities in our Science classrooms.
During the visit, Reece met with Student Leader Lennox T and College Captain Jayde C alongside Principal Laura Moore, MCS Tracey Hughes and Head of Science Alex Discombe to discuss how the new equipment is being used across the College and the impact it is having on student learning.
Reece also enjoyed a visit to our student-run Side Street Cafe for a coffee and had the chance to meet our much loved School Support Dog, Miami.
We thank Reece Whitby and his office for their continued support of our students and programs.
