🇮🇹😂 WHO'S TEACHING WHOM HERE?! 🍝🤌

When Sara's dad, Oliviero, comes all the way from Italy to visit, you'd think HE would be the one teaching us how to make pasta, wouldn't you? 🇮🇹👨‍🍳

But not at Origins! 😂

On Sunday, we had Sara showing her dad how to make tortellini. Yes, you read that right! Sara was the teacher, Dad was the student… and somehow, he was also our ILLUSTRIOUS GUEST JUDGE! 👨‍⚖️🍝🤣

Talk about keeping it in the family!

And with an Italian dad watching every little fold, those tortellini had to be up to scratch! 👀🤌

But jokes aside, having Sara share our Italian Nonna's Pasta class with her dad was something truly beautiful. Watching them cook together, laugh and share a little piece of Italian tradition reminded us exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

Because at Origins, it's never just about pasta.

It's about family, connection, laughter, traditions and bringing people together around the table. 🌻

And when a little piece of Italy travels all the way to our kitchen in Queensland, that's something worth celebrating. 🇮🇹❤️

Recently, we had the absolute joy of making gnocchi with younger students — little hands learning how a few simple ingredients can become something so delicious. 🇮🇹❤️

Then, on Saturday, it was the grown-ups' turn!

Different ages, different hands, but the same tradition, the same laughter and the same love of making food together.

Because Italian cooking isn't just about recipes.

It's about sharing, learning, creating memories and passing traditions from one generation to the next. 🇮🇹

And honestly… there really is no age limit when it comes to making a good plate of gnocchi! 🥔

👩‍🍳 When the student becomes the teacher… 😂

Dad took on the challenge of making orecchiette — and let’s be honest, they are NOT the easiest pasta to master! 🍝

With a lot of patience, perseverance and some very serious coaching from his daughter, he eventually got there. 👏🏻

And then, when all else failed, apparently it was just because of him, she said. 😂😂

Father-daughter teamwork at its finest — and those orecchiette were definitely earned! ❤️🇮🇹
