Bagdad Education & Care - A Nature Play Centre

Welcome to the Bagdad Childcare and Early Learning Centre. Established in 1988 under the patronage of the Bagdad Community Club and licensed by the Tasmanian Department of Education, the Centre has serviced the municipality for over twenty-two years. The new fully resourced, purpose-built Centre opened in June 2000 has been expanded as the community’s needs have grown, moving recently to Long Day

Care, offering parents access to Government subsidized fees and longer opening hours for working parents. As a professional provider of services in the education and care sector we work closely with the relevant sector licensing and legislative authorities to make sure that our service offers the most progressive policies, educational programs and resources to create the most stimulating environment for inspiring young minds and bodies. Our Educators are highly qualified and experienced and most have been with the Centre for many years, offering children the security and comfort they need seeing familiar faces every day. We strongly encourage our staff to participate in ongoing professional development and see this as an integral component of our success in your child’s development and a positive foundation for their experience at the Centre.
