Get Ready!! The New Remuda Rail and Trail Classes Are Here

Cowboy Dressage Remuda Rail will be in full swing for the May Gathering! Show off your CD skills in a traditional looking Rail class in both Walk/Jog and Walk/Jog/Lope.

CDW Remuda Trail will make an appearance this year! Standardized/suggested obstacles list, coupled with a very modified test in the court. Tests will be available for viewing and use in March of this year!

Another fantastic weekend of Cowboy Dressage here on the picturesque island of Tasmania with beautiful horses and ladies. I feel very privileged and excited to have watched so much positive change and progress in the riders' journeys with their horses. We began day one with horsemanship on the ground before transferring these exercises to our riding. As deeper understanding of the true nature of soft feel developed, changes in emotional states and postures revealed the potential and grace between horse and rider.
Much appreciation to Kerry Harvey for her devoted time and energy in making these clinics possible.

The very tranquil setting of Inspire Connections in the south of Tasmania, was the perfect place for our weekend of Horsemanship and Cowboy Dressage. These ladies are an inspiration in their continued enthusiasum and dedication to further developing their 'Soft Feel' in quality groundwork. Transferring these exercises to the saddle, enhanced their horses emotional and physical balance, rhythm and suppleness, leading to much progress in their Cowboy Dressage.
So very grateful to be an ongoing part of the progress and fun with these beautiful ladies. Much appreciation to my lovely host Karina and the delicious dinner experience with Susanne and you all.

A great few days of Cowboy Dressage at Stable & Nook, Fish Creek in South Gippsland. Loved seeing the progress of all the riders and horses over the weekend as they worked on developing their 'Soft Feel' on the ground and under saddle. Thank you all the riders and fence sitters that made it a fun weekend, and to Larissa Judd and Emma for the moments captured. A special thank you to Anne for making it all happen.
Look forward to seeing you all next time!

Having great fun at our Cowboy Dressage clinic and test training day in North Tasmania! Apologies to all those ladies who we didn't capture over the weekend. Thanks Trich for the photos you took.
Well done to you all over the last 3 days and a great effort braving the wild weather.

Just back to the north after a fabulous weekend of Cowboy Dressage in the south of Tasmania. Lots of fun and learning and an amazing effort by everyone braving the wild weather riding tests on the second day. Many thanks to Jackie, Karina and Kerry for all your organising. Looking forward to the next visit!

Tasmanian students were blessed last weekend by a fantastic horsemanship clinic with Australia’s leading horseman, Ken Faulkner. Each day consisted of both groundwork and saddlework that focused on the development of Soft Feel through encouraging the horses to use their bodies more effectively.

Using Ken’s ground skills, creating lateral flexion in movement, promoting engagement, and elevating and freeing shoulders, leading to Soft Feel on the ground. Then, transferring these brilliant skills up into ridden work in the saddle for all performance horses, including trail horses.

Last weekend’s clinic marked Ken’s much-anticipated return to Tasmania, and we are expecting him back in 2026.
