At Journey Bacchus Marsh, we believe that caring for children starts with caring for the people who care for them. 💚

As part of our newly refreshed team retreat space, we've been fortunate to receive this beautiful painting of Lerderderg Gorge, lovingly created by one of our toddler children's grandparent and valued member of our community.

This local landscape was chosen to bring a sense of calm, connection and nature into a space where our educators can pause, rest and recharge throughout their day. We know that having a peaceful environment to take a break is so important for the wellbeing of our team, and we're proud to invest in spaces that support them.

We're also incredibly grateful for the time, care and creativity that went into this special piece. It is more than just a painting—it's a thoughtful gift that reflects the strength of our centre community and the wonderful partnerships we share with our families.

✨ Alphabet Adventures! ✨

This month, our children have been exploring the alphabet and building their confidence with letter recognition through a range of intentional teaching experiences.

During our small group learning experiences, the children enjoyed matching lowercase letters with their uppercase partners. They carefully observed each letter, compared their shapes, and used their problem-solving skills to work out which letters belonged together.
