Congratulations to EVERY class that entered the Strings of Stories Competition for Book Week. It was incredibly hard for the judges to choose the winners as the entries were all wonderful with some of them even playing actual music!!! However after much deliberation our winners were:

Class Winners
Prep A – Derek (Prep-Year 2 Category)
Year 3A – No drama Cane Farmer (Year 3 - Year 4 Category)
Year 5B – Run ( Year 5 – Year 6 Category)
Runners Up
Year 1B – Dear Broccoli

We loved welcoming Miss Sarah and the children from Bright Horizons Kindy to our school! With a number of their Kindy children joining our Prep cohort next year, it was a wonderful opportunity to begin building connections, friendships and familiarity with our school and Prep team.

The children enjoyed a story in Prep A before heading to Prep B for some fine motor fun. They then joined our current Prep students for first break to explore the playground and enjoy some time together. Visits like these are such a lovely way to help our future Preps feel comfortable, confident and connected as they begin their transition to school.

SCIENCE WEEK FUN! 🎪🔬 SUPER SCIENCE CIRCUS SHOW! 🔬🎪
What a fantastic morning of science, laughter, curiosity and fun at BCC!

Today we welcomed the wonderful Ms Heidi and the Super Science Circus Show, where science came to life through circus tricks, comedy, magic and plenty of audience participation! 🤹♀️🫧✨
Our students were captivated as they explored the science behind gravity, friction, forces, air resistance, balance, sound, energy and motion. From juggling and balancing unusual objects to floating balls, cracking whips, hula hoops and amazing bubbles, there was certainly plenty of excitement — and lots of questions about HOW and WHY things happen!

It was wonderful to see our students laughing, participating and discovering that science really is all around us. 🧪💡

A huge thank you to Ms Heidi for bringing such energy, enthusiasm and fun to BCC this morning. What a memorable way to inspire our young scientists!

THE GOLD RUSH CONTINUES IN GIRU .... Congratulations to Tahlia Domelow from Giru Cafe and Convenience Store who sat down for a break with one of our Wonka Bars and SURPRISE... another Golden Ticket! In the words of W***y Wonka "Try some more!" as there may be more gold in those bars up in Giru.
