❤️ $1,403.10 raised for Ronald McDonald House Charities! ❤️
When we started this fundraiser, we estimated we might raise around $200. To finish with $1,403.10 is something we never expected and are incredibly proud of.
An amount like this can provide around a fortnight’s worth of accommodation for families, giving them a home away from home and helping them stay close to their child when it matters most.
While we collected the funds, our community provided them.
Every person who donated, purchased raffle tickets, stopped by our stall, shared our posts or contributed in some way — you made this possible. We simply collected the money; the generosity came from you.
A very special thank you also goes to My Vibe Homewares and Slice of Europe for donating prizes, and to Burdekin School for lending us their game board. Your generosity helped us turn a small fundraising idea into something much bigger than we imagined.
We all know how important Ronald McDonald House North Australia is to families going through incredibly difficult times. The care and support they provide goes far beyond simply offering somewhere to stay, and it was an absolute honour to raise funds for an organisation that does so much for families when they need it most.
