Use this handy calendar to check when your child can start kindy, and be sure to approach your preferred kindy early about enrolment as many services have waiting lists.

Kindy is free 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

Today we had a very exciting special guest come and share his culture with the kindy room. His name is Craig Kemp but he goes by Googabinj, Googabinj means scrub Turkey and is the birth totem of Craig Kemp. Googabinj is an inspiring aboriginal cultural performer who's heritage traces back into Ghungulu and Iman trible nations west of Rockhampton, Central Queensland.

For over 28years, Googabinj has travelled across Australia, sharing his culture with audiences of all ages. He plays and important cultural role in his community. Passing on knowledge, stories and traditions to future generations.
