Last week our Aboriginal students went along to Kincumber Public School to participate in the Tjudibaring Cup.

Students had the opportunity to participate in a range of activities, including rugby, traditional Aboriginal games, weaving, didgeridoo and art.

The day provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with Aboriginal students from local schools and celebrate culture together.

We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school throughout the day. They embraced every opportunity to learn, participate and have fun.

Our Father's Day Stalls are on Wednesday, September 2nd!

Every child will have the chance to pick out a special gift for the special dad (or father-figure!) in their life, with prices starting from just $1. 🎁

A huge thank you in advance to our amazing P&C for organising and running the stalls, your efforts make these moments possible for our kids. 🙌

This week, Jesse had a fantastic three days representing Sydney North at the NSWPSSA Boys Touch Football Championships in Coffs Harbour. The team finished 7th overall with 6 wins, 2 draws and 4 close losses, including a draw against eventual runners-up Sydney East. Well done on a terrific few days representing our region, Jesse!

Who doesn't love a Pink song?

1E has always loved singing with Mr Nigel, who is one of our wonderful SLSOs at Avoca Beach Public School. Whether he's rocking out on the guitar or supporting students in the classroom, he helps us learn and bust out a tune.

You might just see a little more of this in 1E's class performance next Term!

Debating Team Triumph!

Could you stand up in front of your entire school and perform a solo?
That was the exact topic our debating team tackled today in the Regional Knockout Finals against Blue Haven Primary School - and arguing for the affirmative, Harry, Ellie, Frankie and Nic delivered an outstanding performance!

With strong arguments, detailed examples, clear rebuttals and fantastic teamwork, the team impressed the adjudicator, who described their arguments as “perfectly executed.”

And the result? We won! What a tremendous effort! A special mention to Macca and Harry J for their ongoing commitment and support during training sessions.
