At Unity Grammar, leadership is never simply about holding a title. It is about stepping forward, serving others and accepting responsibility for the example you set.

Our 2027 School Captain candidates spoke with passion and conviction as they shared their vision for representing their fellow learners and contributing to the Unity community.

Their speeches reflected the values at the heart of a Unity education: Global Citizenship, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Prophetic Character, Relentless Learning and Mastery.

Azzam spent 13 years walking the corridors of Unity Grammar as a learner. Today, he walks them again as an Islamic Studies and Quran educator, helping shape the next generation of emerging leaders.

In a heartfelt khutbah, Azzam reminded our learners that we are one community, each blessed by Allah with different strengths that can be used to uplift and benefit others. Our differences are not weaknesses. They allow us to support one another and make our community stronger.

The values once instilled in him, Prophetic Character, leadership, service and responsibility, are now being passed on through him.

This is what education is ultimately about. Nurturing learners who carry their values beyond our gates and use them to serve others.

Thirteen years as a learner. Now, a mentor to the next generation.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى place barakah in Azzam’s journey and in all our former learners who return to Unity to teach, serve and give back.

Education is strengthened when a community comes together behind its children.

Unity Grammar proudly partnered with Brothers in Need to host a fundraising BBQ at Greenacre Public School, supporting families experiencing financial hardship and those from refugee backgrounds.

We were pleased to be joined by NSW Minister and Member for Bankstown Jihad Dib MP and City of Canterbury Bankstown Mayor Bilal El-Hayek, who lent a hand alongside volunteers in support of the school community.

Proceeds will help cover essential education costs, including school fees, learning resources and uniforms, helping ensure every child has the support they need to learn and succeed.

Thank you to Brothers in Need, Greenacre Public School and everyone who contributed to this important initiative.

Memorise the Quran without stepping away from school.​

Unity Grammar Quran School launches in 2027, giving learners the opportunity to pursue ambitious Quran memorisation goals within their complete Unity Grammar education.​

Learners will receive expert Quran instruction, personalised memorisation goals and close progress support while continuing their academic learning, sport, excursions and wider school experience.​

The program brings to life an important belief at the heart of our School: at Unity Grammar, Islam is a way of life.​

Current Unity Grammar families with children in Years 2–5 are invited to express interest for learners entering Years 3–6 in 2027.​

Places are limited. Entry will include a family consultation and learner assessment.​

Our Junior School educator Eman Zaarour delivered a thoughtful presentation on Tarbiyyah, Islamic education and the responsibility educators carry in nurturing the whole child.

Presenting with confidence, depth and purpose, Eman shared the meaningful work taking place within our Junior School with educators from across the Islamic education sector.

Parents are partners.

This morning, our 2027 Kindergarten families gathered for their Pathway to Enrolment Workshop, marking the beginning of a journey we will share together.

Parents wrote letters to their little ones, filled with hopes, prayers and words of encouragement, to be opened when they graduate in 2039.

Through meaningful conversations, laughter and reflection, families explored the important role parents and educators play in shaping a child’s journey. This was more than an information session. It was the beginning of a partnership that will carry these children through the years ahead.

At Unity Grammar, education begins with a strong partnership between school and home.
