Community Kids Our dedicated educators and Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers deliver evidence-based early learning and a government-approved preschool program.

Our approach to early childhood education and care centralises the child as an active agent in their own learning, valuing the individual identity each child brings to our child care and early education centres. Community Kids Austral is a childcare and early learning centre, providing quality long day care and preschool for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in Austral, Liverpool, Leppington, Bringelly Road and Edmondson Avenue. Learning is tailored to each Childs strengths and needs through Individual Learning Plans. Families enjoy our engaging learning spaces, centre pets, chef-prepared meals, and regular updates via our family app. We also offer extracurricular programs including local excursions, sustainability projects, music & movement and community walks. Our Community Kids Horningsea Park Nursery children have been discovering the joy of growing their own food while learning about the importance of caring for Country.

Together, the children planted Snowpea seeds and watched with curiosity as their plants grew and changed over the following months. When the Snowpeas were finally ready to harvest, there was plenty of excitement as the children picked them straight from the garden and had a taste! 🫛

A wonderful hands-on experience that encouraged connection with nature, curiosity and an appreciation for where our food comes from.

Smiles all around at Community Kids Horningsea Park! 😁🦷

Excitement filled the centre as the children welcomed a special visit from the dentist and the Tooth Fairy, discovering fun ways to keep their teeth healthy.

From carefully brushing the soft toys' teeth during role play to sorting foods that help keep smiles strong, every activity encouraged children to learn through play and hands on exploration.

These engaging experiences help children build positive health habits while making learning meaningful, memorable and lots of fun.

🚑 A visit from the Queensland Ambulance Service sparked plenty of curiosity and learning at Community Kids Old Coach Road!

The children loved meeting paramedics Ash and Kassidy, who shared an engaging, age-appropriate session about ambulance safety and the important role paramedics play in helping our community.

The learning didn't stop when the visit ended. Since then, many of the children have been inspired to take on the role of paramedics during imaginative play, exploring what it means to care for others and respond in an emergency.

A big thank you to Ash and Kassidy for sharing their time, knowledge and kindness with us. We loved having you visit and can't wait to welcome you back again!
