A big thank you to the Australian Dental Foundation for visiting our school and providing dental checks and cleans for our students! 🦷✨

We are so grateful for the care, patience and encouragement your team showed our children, helping them learn about the importance of looking after their teeth and keeping those smiles healthy and bright. 😁

What has been coming into view is now revealed. ✨

As a part of the Sydney Catholic Schools community, we are all united by a shared mission to provide Catholic education deeply anchored in faith, marked by educational excellence and accessible to all who seek it.

Inspired by the beauty and symmetry of the rose window of St Mary’s Cathedral, the new Sydney Catholic Schools logo shifts the focus from Sydney’s iconic landmarks to the spiritual heart of the Archdiocese which connects us.

It lives in our students, our staff and our families across Greater Sydney and is reflected in the way we learn and walk together.

With Christ at the centre of all that we do, this renewed expression reflects who we are as a community of communities, based in our traditions but looking boldly to the future.

πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ’šπŸ’› WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT! πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Ollie Facer, son of our very own Mrs Facer, who represented Australia at the Under 20 World Championships in Oregon! πŸŒπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Ollie headed into the Championships ranked 42nd in the world and produced an outstanding performance, progressing to the semi-finals, running a personal best of 13.50 seconds and finishing an incredible 18th in the world! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Behind every young athlete is a family cheering them on, and we know there was one very proud mum watching every hurdle! πŸ₯°

Congratulations, Ollie. Your hard work, dedication and humility have taken you onto the world stage and the whole St Joseph the Worker community is incredibly proud of you.

πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί 42nd ➑️ 18th in the world. What an achievement! πŸ’šπŸ’›

We were treated with a lovely story about the life of St Mary MacKillop in preparation for her feast day on Saturday 8th August.
Well done to Mr Stefanychyn and his cast on delivering this powerful story to the students of STJW.
