Event Details: This Webex will focus on examples of High Impact Teaching Strategies to compliment your HASS teaching and learning programs. This one hour presentation will provide teachers with a bank of tools on from which to draw when creating dynamic HASS lessons or reflecting on practices used in the classroom.

This workshop explores Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander perspectives through the HASS Curriculum. Participants will increase their understanding of cross curriculum priority: Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Histories and Culture. Participants will have an increased knowledge of ways to integrate Aboriginal culture and perspectives into their HASS teaching programs.

Welcome back to school to all teachers and students for another exciting year. Our education team is excited to announce that 2021 marks the 100th anniversary since Edith Cowan’s election to . A series of resources have been developed to celebrate the first woman to be elected to an Australian parliament. These resources for primary and secondary schools will be available over the coming weeks.
