Thorndon Park Kindergarten Art Show “Our Community through the eyes of Our Children” is now on display in the Campbelltown Library art gallery space! Come on down and have a look at how amazing these little artists are! It is a heartfelt expression of their connection to the world around them.

We were excited to have Martin Westwell, Chief Executive, Department for Education visit Thorndon Park Kindergarten, where he engaged deeply to celebrate our achievements, discuss our learning aspirations, and explore our future directions. His visit was a significant opportunity to share our prior and current experiences, address our questions and wonderings, and strengthen our alignment with the Departments Strategy for Public Education. We look forward to continuing this collaborative journey to enhance early childhood education and support our young learners at TPK!

At Thorndon Park Kindegarten we promote a sense of community and we highly value our connections between kindergarten and our local community. In 2023, the children were involved in a Campbelltown City Council (SA) Intergenerational Project in collaboration with Athelstone Community Garden at Padulesi Park. We are looking forward to visiting Padulesi Park in term two to see the completed worm mosaics and recall our stories about helping to make them 🪱
