SYDNEY WEST RUGBY 7'S GALA DAY VICTORY!
It was a fantastic day in the sunshine at the Western Sydney Rugby 7s Gala Day, with all students currently participating in the Wednesday CHS Western Sydney competition invited to take part. The boys represented the school with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and plenty of skill, enjoying a great day of rugby alongside schools from across the region.

The Under 14’s competed strongly throughout the tournament, playing with determination and resilience in every match. Despite narrowly missing out on a place in the final due to points difference, the team should be proud of their gallant efforts and the quality of rugby they displayed across the day.

The Under 16s were outstanding from start to finish, proving untouchable as they combined crunching defence with exciting attacking play. After progressing through the pool rounds, they overcame a tough challenge from Windsor High School in the semi-final before shifting into another gear to convincingly defeat Erskine Park and claim the tournament title.

The victory sees the Under 16s advance to the NSW Rugby Secondary Schools Finals Day, where they will join Hills Sports High School in representing Western Sydney. Congratulations to all players involved on an excellent day of rugby and a fantastic achievement for the school.

WORLD'S GREATEST SHAVE
Our World's Greatest Shave event, held on Tuesday 2 June, was a tremendous success, with our final fundraising total reaching over $1,300. These funds will support blood cancer research and assist families affected by this condition.

A special thank you to Bromley from Wilks Cuts Berowra and Nick from Allan's Men's Hairdressing in Hornsby, both former students of the school, as well as Natalie Gallagher, a valued parent within our school community, for generously donating their time and expertise to support this worthy cause.

We also extend our gratitude to the staff and students who stepped up to the challenge and participated so enthusiastically, helping to make the event such a memorable success.

Finally, thank you to Mr Jim French for his organisation and leadership in bringing the day together. This event was a wonderful example of our school community coming together to support an important cause and make a meaningful difference.
