A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our second State of Origin Walk! It was fantastic to see so much maroon spirit on display as students and families actively travelled to school.

The best part? Queensland won Game 2! 🏉❤️

We can't wait to announce the winners of our second Maroons Support Pack. All students who actively travelled to school were entered into the draw, with the lucky winners being announced at Assembly tomorrow morning.

From their year 6 graduation… to the big game! Good luck to our past students - Tia Molo and Keira Rangi - who will represent the maroons tomorrow night in the U19 state of origin! Aspley East is proud of you both. 🌟

Despite the rainy weather last week, we still had students supporting Active School Travel! One of our Environment Captains joined Mr Kelleher and Mrs Clennett and carpool to school when walking and riding were washed out. It was a fun morning even with the rain.

This Wednesday is our second State of Origin Walk, so dust off your maroon and help support Queensland to victory! 💪❤️

Our Walking School Bus will depart from Fred Campbell Park ONLY this week, leaving at 8:00am. We are also hoping to have some special visitors join us again to support the walk.

Remember, if you actively travel to school on Wednesday—whether by walking, riding, scootering, or carpooling—you will go into the draw to win one of our Maroon Support Packs!

Congratulations to our 2026 Readers Cup team! These students participated this week in the state-wide event and did Aspley East proud. 🌟

Just under 2 weeks to go until Chappies’ colour run! The slime-o-meter is creeping up, now at $18,500! 3A is currently the highest fundraising class, closely followed by 3C & 5C! Fundraising closes midnight on event day (Thursday 25th June), so there is still time to fundraise.

Emily is a proud ambassador of the vision impairment community and was happy to help promote the amazing work of Braille House.
