Due to staff commitments, **tomorrow we will only be walking from Fred Campbell Park**.

⏰ We look forward to meeting everyone at **8:00am at Fred Campbell Park** for our walk to school!

🚗 **Perfect opportunity to carpool!** If you usually walk from Rainbow Lorikeet Park, why not organise a carpool with another family tomorrow?

We’re back this Wednesday for Week 6 after the Ekka holiday – and we’ve only got TWO MORE WEDNESDAYS to boost our carpooling data and help us win the 🏆 Brisbane City Council Active School Travel Trophy for August!

Our goal this week: 8% carpooling!

It’s time to get those costumes ready… BOOK WEEK IS COMING! 📕
Aspley East will be celebrating on Monday 24th August. We will commence at 9am with a parade around the oval, followed by a special assembly with performances, prizes and surprises!

Look who slept over last night! Well done to our student council, who capped off pyjama day by spending the night at school to raise awareness for homelessness. These students were elected by their classmates to make positive changes in our school and community. 💜

Due to the Ekka public holiday, we won’t be actively travelling to school tomorrow. We hope you all have the chance to get outside and be active! ☀️
