The Kokodians have conquered the challenge! All teams completed the 18km through the D'Aguilar National Park persevering through mud, rain and aching muscles. The first team came home just under 4hours with our final team completing it in 6hours. A fantastic effort for all Kokodians and we will be having the official celebration on the whole school assembly next term in Week 2. Thank you to the Team Captains for continually motivating and encouraging their charges to the finish line. Thank you to the trainers and families for all your support with the training and getting them to the starting line.

Today, our Year 10 Dance students surprised the school community with a flash mob performance in front of the tuckshop! As part of their assessment, students showcased a high-energy mashup of four hip hop dance sequences, bringing plenty of excitement and entertainment to lunchtime.

Mrs. Rasche is incredibly proud of the Year 10 Dance students for their confidence, commitment, and enthusiasm in performing in front of such a large crowd of students.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped to watch and support our dancers. Your encouragement helped make the performance a memorable success!

The SPAR-C (Solving Problems and Reasoning Collaboratively) Program provides high-achieving students with opportunities to extend their learning through a rigorous and engaging academic curriculum.

To be eligible to sit the SPAR-C Entrance Exam, families must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for enrolment and indicate their interest in the SPAR-C Program.

Last Wednesday, 45 of our Year 11 English students had the opportunity to experience Shake & Stir’s electrifying production of Macbeth at QPAC and it certainly did not disappoint!
Reimagined for a modern audience, the production created a contemporary world where power is wielded through clickbait media, influence, and the pursuit of fame. The production remained faithful to Shakespeare’s original tragedy while challenging audiences to reflect on the true nature of evil in today’s society.
The giant set, revolving stage and use of cinematic media was impressive and of course, the Travis Scott sequence was a crowd winner! A great introduction to our Term 3 text.
