The sun was shining yesterday for our very first Music On The Green. A heartfelt thank you to our event partners Belle Property Aspley and Bridgeman Downs for making the afternoon possible and keeping the free sausages sizzling. To our dedicated PFG Volunteers and families who came and supported this new school community event, thank you. From our pre-prep students making new friends, to old friends coming together while the kids danced and played, it looked like everyone was making the most of the sunshine, tunes and good company! 🌞🎶

🎶 The countdown is on! Thanks to our event partner Belle Property Aspley and Bridgeman Downs, our first Music On The Green is happening this Saturday from 2-6pm, and we can’t wait to enjoy a relaxed afternoon together as a school community.

To help everyone make the most of the afternoon, please keep these friendly reminders in mind:
💚 Please be respectful of our neighbours, including parishioners who will be attending Mass.
🚗 Families are encouraged to park in the surrounding streets. Gates to the oval will open from 1:40pm.
🚻 Portable toilets will be available on the oval near Illawong Street. The parish bathrooms will be open for accessibility and changing facilities.
🎶 Bring along your chairs, blankets and pillows, then settle in and enjoy the music from LA BOUM throughout the afternoon. You might have seen LA BOUM perform during their residency at Cloudland in Fortitude Valley on a Saturday night or at The Star Brisbane's newest live entertainment venue, LiveWire! From performing at Suncorp to small intimate shows, with a repertoire of over 500 songs they play an incredible range of music both new and old.
👨‍👩‍👧 Children remain under the supervision of their parents and carers throughout the event. Please note that playgrounds will be closed on the day.
📸 When taking photos or videos, please only capture your children, or friends with parent approval. Please also be mindful of children who do not have media consent before sharing on social media.
🍽️ This is a BYO event, so please pack a picnic to enjoy with family and friends. There will be no food or drink available to purchase on the day. Our event partner Belle Property Aspley and Bridgeman Downs will be providing a free sausage sizzle for children.
🐾 As always, pets, scooters and bikes are not permitted on school grounds.

We’re looking forward to a wonderful afternoon of music, connection and community. See you on the Green! 🎶💚
