Our 3 and 4 year old Nola Barber children received a visit from the Dentist and Dental Therapist from Better Health Network this month. The children discussed oral hygiene, teeth cleaning and had a brief oral examination. Parents received a report and the children received a certificate and toothbrush at the end of the visit. 🦷 🪥

Emily & Selwyn from Melbourne Museum visited Nola Barber last week!
They brought some amazing things to share with the children; dinosaur bone castings, teeth, fossils of small creatures and also dinosaur poo.

Selwyn is from the deaf community and taught the children many Auslan signs including; Melbourne, museum, dinosaur, herbivore, carnivore…and a few more

The children were then able to explore the bone castings and also the skull casting of a Tsintaosaurus along with many smaller fossils and even some dinosaur poo!

We loved meeting our 2025 Nola Barber Kindergarten children last week during orientation! Meeting teachers, other children, families, playing various activities and a group story time. The children had so much fun! All parents should have received their large envelope with information to be completed and returned on interview day. Keep an eye on your emails for your Welcome Pack!

This week, our 4 year old groups travelled by bus to the Cranbourne Botanical gardens to engage in the Early Education Program – You & Me, Murrawee.
The children explored First Peoples culture and gained a deeper understanding of the Eastern Kulin Nations. We also loved exploring the gardens as a group!
