Good Afternoon Families,

Just to let you know, our excursions for the up coming vacation care to Bounce (4.4.23) and Timezone (12.4.23) are booked out and waitlists have been created.

Welcoming Rochelle to our team!🌻

🌱Rochelle has a huge passion for caring for our environment, which is great because the children at OSHC love harvesting their fruit and vegetables with her! In her own time Rochelle loves spending time with her two dogs, Archie and Rajah. In addition to this interest, Rochelle is also studying Interior Design, after having previously worked in real estate. We’re so fortunate to have you as part of our team Rochelle!

The children harvested 16 cucumbers at after school care yesterday! A few of the cucumbers were saved for afternoon tea, and the remainder were eaten by the group after we cut them up in our kitchen. 🌿🌱

🤩We're pleased to introduce our services Educational Leader, Grace.

🏙Grace recently moved from Brisbane so she could be closer to the beach (although she hasn't learnt to surf yet!). Grace is currently studying a Masters of Education. Her main goal as Educational Leader is to assist the staff and children with our garden club, and to help teach the children about our ecological footprint and the ways we can all be more sustainable. 🌿

"It's been great getting to know the students over the last few weeks, and I look forward to meeting you all when school goes back." Grace.

😊Georgia joined our team in June 2020, in the role of Responsible Person. Georgia has had a huge impact on our service operations, our staff and on our children. Although we are saddened to say goodbye, we wish Georgia all the best in her new adventure.

🥰Georgia's last day at our service is the 23rd of December, 2022. Georgia, we will miss your positive energy and happy smile. Thank you for dedicating the last 2.5 years to our OSHC service. It is much appreciated.

😀🎠Attention all Families;
There are only a few spaces remaining for Monday the 16th of January, for our Day in the Park excursion.

🎡All other excursions including, Iplay, Dreamworld, Event Cinemas, and Paradise Country are booked out, and a wait list has been created for each day.

☀️We're very excited for our upcoming Summer Vacation Care, that of which our educators and students planned together.

Thank you to Merv, the President of the Labrador Men’s Shed for organising and constructing these incredible signs for our fruit and vegetable gardens. 🥦🌿

Congratulations to Prep 1E for recycling 480 eligible containers through our P&C's Container Refund Scheme in Term 3.

To thank Prep 1E our OSHC staff visited their classroom to deliver ice blocks, a trophy, and a certificate! Great recycling!
