As always we are so lucky to have a boss who appreciates everything we do as educators!! Walking in to a Toy Story World this morning was a buzz…!! Our deputy has made it a day we will remember to Infinity and beyond!! “The important thing is that we stick together!” Adding to the excitement, is seeing all the children get so much joy out of it!! “Our mission on this planet is to make a child/children happy!” A big thank you to all of our families who shared such kind words and gestures on this special day!!❤️💙💛

The Banksia children were invited to create their very own soccer game using our tough tray, LEGO® people, goals, and loose parts. They explored the layout of a soccer field, positioned the players, developed team strategies, and acted out an exciting World Cup match.

Through collaborative play, the children negotiated roles, shared ideas, solved problems, and used their imagination to recreate the game.

This experience encouraged teamwork, communication, and an understanding of the rules and structure of soccer while fostering creativity and cooperative learning.

Outcome 1: Children develop a strong sense of identity as they worked together, negotiated roles, and contributed their ideas confidently.

Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world by learning about a globally recognised sport and participating in collaborative play.

Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners as they explored strategies, solved problems, and used critical thinking to create and adapt the game.
