🌈🔺 Colour & Shape Recognition with our Toddlers! 🔵🟨

Our toddlers had so much fun matching colours and shapes to the corresponding coloured paper! 🎨✨

Through this hands-on learning experience, the children were developing their colour and shape recognition, matching skills, concentration and cognitive thinking while having lots of fun exploring and making connections. 🧠💛

⚖️✨ Cognitive Investigation in Junior Kindy! ✨⚖️

Our Junior Kindy children have been busy exploring weight, balance, and prediction through a hands-on investigation using rocks and shells.

Before placing each object onto the balance scale, the children made their own predictions about which would be heavier or lighter.

They then tested their ideas and carefully observed which side of the scale moved down 💡

🫧✨ Pop, blow, explore ✨🫧

Our Under 2’s have recently been busy exploring the cause and effect of bubbles!

From watching bubbles float through the air to reaching, popping, chasing, and blowing on them, our little learners were fascinated by what happened when they interacted with the bubbles.

This simple play experience encouraged curiosity, sensory exploration, hand-eye coordination, and early scientific thinking as the children discovered that their actions could create a reaction.

So many smiles, giggles, and pop, pop, pop! moments, especially from Miss Cony, the expert bubble maker!

Letters, Names and Learning in Junior Kindy! ✏️🔤

Our Junior Kindy children have been busy exploring letters and having a go at writing their very own names! 📝

Through playful mark-making and letter recognition, the children are building their confidence, developing their fine motor skills, and beginning to understand that those special letters make up their names.

Nursery Rhymes and Outdoor Group Time! ☀️

Our under-2s have been enjoying a lovely outdoor group time, sharing stories and singing nursery rhymes together 💚

With books in hand and little voices joining in, our youngest learners explored familiar rhymes, listened to new words, copied actions, and enjoyed the joy of reading together in the fresh air! 📚

Roars, Colours and Culture! ✨🐉

Our Junior Kindy and Kindy children had a wonderful time taking part in a Chinese Dragon Incursion and Activity Morning with the fabulous Bonnie! 🐲

The children were immersed in a fun and engaging morning filled with music, movement, colour, culture, and hands-on activities.

They loved discovering more about the Chinese dragon, joining in with the excitement, and exploring new experiences together.

From curious little faces to enthusiastic participation, it was such a special opportunity for our children to learn about and celebrate another culture through play, creativity, and connection 🌏

A huge thank you to Bonnie for sharing such a fun and memorable experience with our children!

💦⭐ Splash, Shine and Explore! ⭐💦

Our Toddlers and Pre-Kindy friends have been busy making a splash with some water play and shiny star fun! ✨

From pouring, scooping, and splashing to discovering the way light catches and reflects from our sparkly stars, the children were immersed in sensory exploration and hands-on learning 🌈

Water play encourages fine motor development, coordination, early scientific thinking, and social skills as our little learners share, experiment, and discover together.

And of course… everything is a little more magical when there are shiny stars involved.

Lots of splashing, plenty of smiles, and so many little moments of discovery! 💛

🩹✨ Little First Aid Heroes in Action! ✨🩹

Our Over 3’s had a fantastic time during our recent Cool Kids First Aid incursion! 🚑

With plenty of hands-on learning, our little first aiders discovered how to recognise when someone needs help, how to care for minor injuries, and why staying calm is so important 💛

From learning about bandages and first aid equipment to practising how to help others, the children were curious, engaged, and ready to put their new skills into action! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

It was a fun-filled experience that encouraged confidence, kindness, and a little bit of superhero spirit! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

A huge thank you to Cool Kids First Aid for visiting us and helping our children learn some very important life skills in such a fun and memorable way! ✨
