Does your child use Instagram? If they’re at high school (and sometimes even younger) then there is a good chance they’re on this app. Recently Instagram implemented a new feature where they are automatically removing nasty or offensive comments from accounts in the push to reduce cyber bullying online. Not only that, but this filter will also notify Instagram of the repeat offenders. This function has been available as an opt-in for a while but it’s timely that Instagram addresses the trolls and cyber bullying that occurs on this platform. So what do you need to do? Make sure your child has updated to the latest version of the app. It’s that simple!
