Ashgrove Memorial Community Kindergarten is a non-profit, community kindy which has been educating and caring for the Ashgrove community since 1949. Our teachers are very qualified and experienced and love forming that special bond with all children to help them thrive. Our playground is large, green, shady and fun! Our indoor setting is inclusive and welcoming. Talk to anyone who has been involved here and experience our wonderful environment.

Creating patterns with loose parts, help us develop our maths skills, shape, direction, position, size and spacial awareness. This experience also strengthens problem solving skills, visual perception and mathematical language. The children are also developing early writing skills. This is a fun activity to do at home with a large piece of paper on the dining room table - Mrs Nye

Cubby houses and building structures, provide children with an opportunity to role play, communicate, negotiate, problem solve and enjoy time together. These opportunities need time and space which are highly valued at Kindy 🙌🤗
