🚲 Riding Into The Weekend 🚲

Our little learners in our Nursery have been practising their gross motor skills in many ways, one of which is riding bikes!

Pushing their way through the playground utilising their leg strength whilst navigating their hand eye coordination has been impressive to say the least .

This week, the children at Cottage had their 6-month dental check-up with the team at Delivering Dental.

Our little learners enjoy choosing their snazzy sunnies of choice before learning how to look after their dental health.

Our little scientists have been busy in the sand, building volcanoes for the dinosaurs! 🌋🦖

Today we celebrated our Centre birthday!

Everyone enjoyed some yummy treats and fun activities to share the day together!

Sometimes, our little learners show their imagination in different ways. One being ice cream creations using sand and adding toppings from the surrounding nature.

Our Toddler children enjoy using their imagination to recreate animals and insects from playdough. Stretching, smashing, and twisting everything into shape.

🏀🏋️ Commonwealth Games 🏋️🏀

To celebrate the 2026 Commonwealth Games, we set up a number of fun games for the children at Cottage to enjoy.

Some are chosen favourites amongst the children, and some are to challenge their skills.

Today our toddlers explored a homemade brown sugar and lavender scrub, scooping, mixing, and discovering new textures and scents.

Our Kindergarten children enjoy exploring the slide from their outdoor fort, especially as the weekend approaches!

Today, our Toddler children engaged in a fun culinary class, creating ‘Ants on a log.’

Practising their cutting skills, creating logs from celery sticks, and using their fine motor skills to spread on cream cheese before adding the final ingredient, saltanas.
