St John's Preschool Ashfield

It was a joy to come together as a Preschool today and join in National Simultaneous Storytime with other schools and preschools around the nation at 12pm. This years book, Luna Roo, encourages children to have courage and determination in their approach to life. It is always fantastic to see the children’s love for stories and literature growing through experiences such as these!

We had such a lovely time at our Mother’s Day celebrations this week! Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing Mums in our community!

It was a joy to come together as a community this afternoon as the children joined in an Easter Egg Hunt. The children searched for 2 plastic eggs in the church grounds and exchanged it for a real chocolate egg. Thank you to our volunteers from St John’s Anglican Church who helped to run the hunt.

We are very excited to spend the next two weeks exploring the lifecycle of butterflies. Thanks to Ladybug Academy, we will explore first hand the natural process of caterpillars turning into chrysalis and then transforming into butterflies!
