PLC Sydney Preschools

This week we visited the PLC Sydney main campus and met one of the fantastic Year 10 PASS classes, who led our students in a range of fun and exciting PE activities 🏐 🥅

From racing on space hoppers to scoring goals in the soccer net, the students - both Preschool and Year 10 - certainly had a blast.

Thank you to Year 10 for preparing and leading such an exciting afternoon of activities! We’re looking forward to visiting again soon for our next PE class ❤️

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Candice Mackay as the new Teaching Director of PLC Sydney Preschool Lane Cove.

Ms Mackay brings a wealth of educational knowledge to our team, with a professional background that encompasses Early Childhood, Primary, and Learning & Support. She holds a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) and a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies with Distinction from the The University of Newcastle, Australia.

With experience across a variety of primary school and early learning settings, Ms Mackay excels at developing inclusive, engaging, and play-based learning and school-readiness programs tailored to each child's individual needs. As our youngest students begin their school journeys at our newest Preschool location, Ms Mackay is dedicated to building strong, collaborative relationships with families, our preschool staff, and the broader community.

Ms Mackay will officially commence her role at Lane Cove Preschool at the start of Term 3, 2026.

Yesterday we were excited to welcome Elise, one of the Animal Programs Officers from , to Ashfield to teach us about some of the exciting animals they look after over on the main campus.

From stick insects and spiders to millipedes and even a turtle, there was so much to learn and experience 🐢🕷️🐛🐌
