It will be FUN for the whole FAMILY!

Exciting NEWS!! We have our first chicken eggs from Snowy, Goldie and Pepper. We are not sure which hen is laying at the moment, but this is very exciting!"

We had a fabulous return to Rowen Street for 2024 with lots of fun and enriching activities for our children and families.

None more exciting than welcoming three new members to our community.

The children were given the opportunity to name our three new friends, with the selections to be revealed in coming weeks when we return for term two.

Rowen Street Kinder Supporting Food For Families

Food For Families is a campaign to collect food and other essential items for families in crisis. Food For Families is a great way to get together to make a tangible difference to the lives of individuals and families experiencing hardship and crisis throughout the year.

All food donated goes directly to people in crisis across Victoria and Tasmania. Please help and make a difference.

How can you help to make sure families in your area have full pantries?

1. Give non-perishable food and items & drop your donation off at Rowen Street Kinder. There is a box in the foyer. Please bring all items by WEDNESDAY 15TH DECEMBER.

2. The donations will then go to Uniting

3. People in crisis receive the donations, thanks to you.

Shopping List Ideas:
* Pasta, rice and noodles
* Flour, polenta and couscous
* Tinned tomatoes, pasta sauces
* Beans, chickpeas and lentils
* Tinned tuna, salmon and ham
* Soups, curries and tinned vegetables
* Baby food, nappies and formula
* Spreads - e.g. jam, Vegemite
* Long life milk and cheese
* Tea, coffee, Milo and sugar
* Stir fry sauces and soy sauce
* Coconut milk and coconut cream
* Breakfast cereal and muesli bars
* Toothpaste and toothbrushes
* Shampoo, conditioner and soap

Please remember to:
Give undamaged, packaged items
Check the expiry date
Make sure food is sealed
Make sure the label is visible
Get friends and family involved

Hey there, awesome supporters of RSK! Remember that sizzling Saturday on August 5th at Bunnings Notting Hill? Well, let's recap the saucy highlights.

The Grill Master Paul (aka RSK Parent from Ashburton Meats) supplied 25 KILOS of mouth watering sausages! 🍔🔥

🍞 But hold up, what's a sausage without its BFF? Wonder White swooped in and generously donated the bread 🥖, making our sausages feel all cosy and complete!

And the cherry on top? We SMASHED our fundraising goals, pocketing OVER $2,000 in PROFIT! That's right, we're talking sausages turning into dollars for a great cause - OUR Kinder!

Your support made it all happen, and we're GRATEFUL beyond words! Every bite, every laugh, and every dollar raised will go towards nurturing our wonderful RSK Kinder community.
