We had a fantastic time last Friday at our annual Father’s Day Afternoon Tea and Animal Farm Visit!

As always, the animals were a huge hit — the children had a wonderful time brushing, feeding, and patting them. It was heartwarming to see so many happy faces and special moments shared.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so memorable!

Important Notice: Mobile and Digital Device Policy

In line with new regulations, we are implementing a ban on the use of personal mobile phones and digital devices within the centre. This policy applies to all families, visitors, and staff, and is designed to ensure the safety, privacy, and wellbeing of the children in our care.

Only centre-issued devices may be used in rooms where children are present. Personal devices are not permitted in these areas under any circumstances.

For special events, the centre will capture photos using centre-issued devices. These will be securely uploaded to Seesaw for families to access.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in supporting a safe and respectful environment for all.

Book Week Fun at the Centre!
We had such a wonderful time celebrating Book Week at the centre last week! It was fantastic to see both Educators and children getting into the spirit of the event with their amazing costumes and favourite books. The week was a joyful celebration of literacy and a great opportunity to foster a love of reading in our children. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and helped make it so special!

Science Week Highlights

Last week, we celebrated Science Week at the centre with a range of hands-on experiments that captivated the children's curiosity and love for learning. The children explored exciting scientific concepts through engaging activities such as volcano and lava eruptions, sinking and floating investigations, and discovering how greenhouses work while learning about plant growth. It was a fun-filled week of discovery, experimentation, and learning through play!

🚓👮‍♀️ A Special Visit from Leading Senior Constable Tyneal! 👮‍♀️🚓

A huge thank you to Leading Senior Constable Tyneal from Camberwell Police Station for visiting our Kinder children!

She showed us the different types of police officers, explained all the cool protective gear they wear, and even let us listen in on the police radio 📻 (we heard about an ambulance in Forest Hill!).

The kids had a blast dressing up in police uniforms and sitting in the front seat of the police car — so exciting! And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better… the lights and sirens came on! 🚨💙

Last week we were lucky enough to have Elk Puppets come to the centre to perform their show. The children (and Educators) loved Chris and his puppet friends and were thoroughly entertained throughout!

We have had so much snuggly fun this Pyjama Day, and had so many generous donations for The Pyjama Foundation. We wish it was Pyjama Day every day.

This Wednesday 23rd July is Pyjama Day at the centre. Please bring a gold coin or donation to support The Pyjama Foundation in empowering children in foster care. So don't forget to wear your pyjamas this Wednesday to support a wonderful cause.

Today we had a little bit of silliness in the centre, wearing our odd shoes and socks! It was a lot of fun and met with lots of laughter. We all decorated our own odd socks as well!
