With the Disability and Inclusion 2026 State Boccia Schools Competition Finals wrapped, we'd like to extend a special thank you to Sydney Olympic Park, our new Venue Partner, for supporting this competition and all of the Disability and Inclusion Boccia events in 2026. We also acknowledge the ongoing support of Boccia Australia and Boccia NSW, whose contribution helps us to continue to provide high-quality sporting opportunities and experiences for our students.

The 2026 State Boccia Finals has now concluded!🔴🔵⚪

Today we saw 24 High Schools battle it out for the State Finals.

Congratulations to St Clair High School who have been crowned the High School State Boccia Champions for 2026 after defeating last years winners Wagga Wagga High School in the final! 3rd place was Kincumber High School who narrowly defeated Broken Hill High School for the bronze medal!

The School Sport Unit would like to thank the Current Singles World Boccia Champion Jamieson Leeson and her Ramp Operator Jasmine Haydon for presenting this years medals and Championship Shield!🌟

Thank you to all 300 High Schools who participated in this years competition which saw tremendous skill and enthusiasm for the sport of Boccia!

The 2026 State Boccia Finals are underway at the Quaycentre this week!🔴🔵⚪

Today was the Primary State Finals which saw 28 regional winners compete for the top prize of being State Champions.

Congratulations to Arcadia Vale Public School who have been crowned State Boccia Champions for 2026, in 2nd place was Orange Public School followed by Kellyville Ridge Public School in 3rd place.

Thank you to all 400 Primary Schools who participated in this years competition who all showed tremendous enthusiasm for the sport of Boccia!

We’re excited to welcome Optimum Experiences Outdoor Adventures as a new supporter of the Duke of Ed NSW Public Schools Pilot. As an in-kind supporter of the program, they recently delivered an engaging professional learning session for teachers participating in the program. The session supported the ongoing development of staff involved and built confidence in leading Adventurous Journeys. We greatly appreciate this contribution.

Congratulations to the Central Coast Primary and Secondary Competition winners which were Erina Heights Public School, Niagara Park Public School and Kincumber High School who won their respective divisions!🏆

Next stop is the Boccia State Finals on Tuesday 28 (Primary) and Wednesday 29 (Secondary) July!

Nominations are now open for the 6th Annual School Sport Unit (SSU) Awards! Please note this is exclusively for department staff to nominate department teachers, not students or parents. The ceremony will be held virtually on 10 December 2026.

The Disability & Inclusion team's School Boccia Competition has finished up this week in Blacktown today!

Congratulations to the Minto Secondary and Blacktown Primary and Secondary Competition winners which were Elizabeth Macarthur High School, Greystanes Public School, Kellyville Ridge Public School, Blacktown Boys High School and Northmead Creative and Performing Arts High School who won their respective divisions!🏆

Next week we will be heading to the Central Coast for the very last primary and secondary competitions to end the term before the state finals!

The Disability & Inclusion team's School Boccia Competition is now in Sydney this week starting in Bankstown today!

Congratulations to the Bankstown Primary and Secondary Competition winners which were Bankstown Public School and Canley Vale High School who won their respective divisions!🏆

Tomorrow we will be heading to Minto followed by Blacktown for two days of competition to end the week!

The Disability & Inclusion team's School Boccia Competition has come and gone to the North West of NSW this week.

Congratulations to the Maitland Primary and Secondary Competition winners which were Beresfield Public School and Bolwarra Public School as well as Rutherford Technology High School. In the Newcastle Competition it was Arcadia Vale Public School, Cardiff South Public School and Lake Munmorah High School who won their respective divisions!🏆

Next week we will make the trip back down to Sydney for the Bankstown, Blacktown and Minto Boccia competitions!

And just like that it's week 5 of Boccia!

The Disability & Inclusion team's School Boccia Competition has travelled to the North West of NSW this week starting in Tamworth, Maitland and finishing in Newcastle.

Congratulations to last weeks Sutherland Primary and Secondary Competition winners which were Bundeena Public School and Warilla High School. Today in the Tamworth Competition it was Drummond Memorial Public School and Oxley High School who won their respective divisions!🏆

Maitland and Newcastle it is your turn to finish this week. Followed by a trip to Bankstown, Blacktown and Minto next week!
