Imbedding Indigenous perspectives in the program goes beyond waiting for special events to incorporate culture, it goes into every day practice.

Our Eucalyptus children enjoyed a sensory tub of orange ochre to feel and manipulate and begin to explore the symbols of the Wadawurrung people for storytelling.

Last night was our Kinder Information Night!
We gave our parents a hands on experience of our Kinder 3 and Kinder 4 group times!
Such an amazing way to demonstrate what they should expect for their children to experience.
Plenty of opportunities to ask questions on what is right for their children and family.
Thanks for coming!

Last week our Kinder 3 & 4 children visited Museum of Play and Art in Geelong. Their first major excursion for the year!
The children engaged in various experiences of all 3 levels that MoPa had to offer. The children were busy focusing on multiple skills such as gross and fine motor, critical thinking, creative expression and cause and effect all through play!

Sensory exploration in our Banksia studio is under way! Finger painting is such an important step in fine motor development in Infants. This is the foundation to have strong hands for holding cutlery to eat and equipment to play which eventually leads to holding pencils for writing in the school years.
