In the market for an unusual Xmas present or need dancewear, shoes, costumes, memorabilia, tap boards etc then come and visit Armidale markets today!! Right in front of the post office!

As requested - photos from ballet, and rehearsal for Light Festival. The last Wednesday together (21st August) before the studio was sold... . Special memories for sure!!!

So handed the keys in, - tenancy of the dance studio is at an end. To celebrate (because every end is a beginning) photos by Favor & Union Photography of our gig at Light Festival recently. What a night! What a day!

Preaching to the converted here I should think, - this beautiful space should be serving more people, and my preference would be through the co-operative model we have been modelling lately. Need to sub-let, co-let or pitch a price for sale to move forward. The asset upstairs in the Mall Arcade has a main studio with sprung tarketted floor, mirrors and barres, waiting area/2nd studio, beautiful entrance hall, change/storage room with 3 x changing cubicles. A little re-cap on eisteddfod event just gone. Huge thank you to Alexandra Cook who looked after students on group day where participants performed 2 of Alex's lovely choreys, and one Hip Hop group dance by Sharnae Smith. Also pictured: Taylah Murphy with her awards for her Contemporary and Jazz solos. The Jazz dance was choreographed by Sharnae Smith and is a challenging chorey we are keen for the Monday night group to learn for their growth.Thank you all, hope you had fun!

In the tardis, we are back in time at the Big Chill Festival with Sharnae Smith and her performance set. Beautiful photos thanks to Favor & Union Photography - backstage and in performance. The Aboriginal Cultural dance group (pictured) rehearses Fridays at 5.30; Senior/Adult Hip Hop and Chorey class (pictured) is on Mondays 5.30-6.30. A special opportunity with a special teacher to warm up this Winter. Eisteddfod re-cap to follow!

As the sun goes down... Wednesday weekly C-Jazz class with Alexandra Cook: 5.30-6.30. A place to train, work together, and be creative. Similarly: Chorey with Sharnae Smith Monday's same time. For an aerobic workout with dance flavour try Lindy's Jazz-fit class on Monday's 6.30-7.30 or Alex's Barre-fitness Wednesdays 6.30-7.15. Happy Easter everyone, dance with nature if you can... .

Casey in action today! The RAD Grade 4 Cane dance (pictured) is a very special little choreography which students love as it is musical, athletic, and full of character, - like Casey! Having received a high merit for his grade 3 full ballet Exam last year Casey is more than ready for this challenge, - with a smile!

Advanced Foundation Ballet will be having a mock Exam with Katherine Ward (from Northern Beaches, Sydney) tomorrow (Monday.) Katherine's visits over the last year have been a motivating inspiration to us for which we are very grateful! This will be followed by Chorey with Sharnae, (5.30) and Jazz-fit with Lindy (6.30.) The latter 2 x classes at 5.30 and 6.30 cater to experienced movers but are also open to beginners. Inquiries: Penny 0417 496 495.
