Armidale Regional Council is proud to support the George Cowie Football Camp in Armidale, in the July school holidays, for children aged 7-16 years.
This is a unique opportunity to train under the guidance of internationally recognised coaches from English Premier League club West Ham United F.C..

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Armidale Central for their generosity in helping us purchase a new pie warmer! 🍲 Our students are truly grateful to enjoy warm and comforting food, especially on chilly days like today. What a creative day for 5/6A at Thalgarrah!

Students immersed themselves in a hands-on art experience, creating three amazing artworks throughout the day. The creativity, enthusiasm, and talent on display were truly impressive, and the finished pieces absolutely blew us away!

A big thank you to Jenny and Sue for sharing their expertise and guiding our students through such an inspiring and enjoyable experience.

Shout out to 2K! Yesterday they headed to the Old Teachers College to compete in the Armidale Eisteddfod on the marimbas. A special thanks to all the parents who came to watch and to Mrs Knuckey, Mrs Austin and Mrs Spillane for accompanying them- but extra special shout out to the students!!! What an experience!

Last week, students from Newling represented our school in the Zone Cross Country. It was a massive day with students from schools all around the Armidale region sending their best runners to compete.

Unfortunately, we didn't have anyone qualify for North West Regional Trials, however the students who participated gave it 100% and did themselves, their families and their school proud.

Well done to everyone involved in making the day a success!

5J has been learning lots about photography and were able to test their skills out at Thalgarrah today. Students used a variety of techniques like rule of thirds and changing the angle to capture their perfect shot. 5J worked hard to select and edit their favourite photo so they could be printed and framed!
