This week, UNE Nutrition's Associate Professor Gal Winter and Kai Allison gave Tamworth's Joblink Plus employees and clients a masterclass in healthy cooking on a budget.

On the menu was Golden Sweet and Sour Tofu with Spiced Spinach and Chickpea Rice, proving cheap eats don't have to be bland.

Elso Pieterse has always had a strong curiosity about the natural world, however, working in accounting and business management meant she wasn't able to fully explore this interest during her day-to-day life.

So, a few years ago she decided to bite the bullet and pursue her passion more seriously, enrolling in an online Bachelor of Science at UNE, majoring in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
