Yarm Gwanga 2022 Calendars available now!
We appreciate our families just as much as parents appreciate our staff ❤️ We thank everyone for their patience in these trying times!
It’s been a massive week at Yarm as I’m sure you can all imagine.
We all want to say a huge “thank you” to all of our wonderful children for being so resilient, our families for their support and offers of assistance, our wider UNE community for help with fencing and helping to make our new home safe as well as their support and offers of resources. A big “thank you” to Little Pink Dog Books for the donation of books. We have been enjoying our new stories!
Preschool and Toddler rooms went for a walk on Tuesday, found many spaces to explore ❤️
The preschoolers supported the toddlers to walk up a giant hill, balance on logs, look under rocks, building confidence, all culminating with a picnic lunch in the bush 🧺🥪🌯
Thank you to our wonderful community of children, educators and families for assistance with forming our vision and philosophy. This is our guiding document of how we view children and their learning, and ultimately how educators support our families and children.

Yesterday we were excited to have Dr Yukiyo Nishida, a Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at UNE, read 'My Dress' in both Japanese and English to the preschoolers.
